BLUEsense
Building Learners, Understanding Electronics
BLUEsense is an educational development board created by David Story and David House, its goal is to be an affordable and easy platform to aid High Schoolers and Undergraduates in implementing PIC based microcontrollers easily into their projects.
What sets BLUEsense apart from other dev boards is that it includes a variety of onboard sensors (photodiodes, temperature sensors, microphones, etc.) as well as the ability to add more sensors or peripherals via the board's interface pins and GPIO ports. The PIC MCU on board comes with pre-loaded libraries that we created to allow beginning users easy access to all the board's peripherals and sensor data.
BLUEsense also features a modular wireless system, where any wireless transceiver (Bluetooth, Zigbee, Cellular LTE, GPS) that is available in Bee Module format can be interchangeable used, allowing the user to pick and choose wireless modules at will.
BLUEsense is constantly in development, follow along with our page for more updates on BLUEsense's development.
